Every two weeks, I produce a potpourri of words that give readers access to book reviews, analysis of current issues, interesting videos, and pictures that I have taken that can open up new vistas to viewers. There are several reasons that I spend a lot of time reading books and finding interesting material that end up in the weekly edition.
This all started early in the pandemic when the world we knew was disrupted for all and upended for many. Having a deadline every two weeks to create something that people will enjoy gives me a goal that I have to accomplish. It motivates me to do work that I enjoy.
Even after the wind-down of the pandemic, People enjoy my Thursday compilations. The book summaries and other material has created a community of sorts around Bob in the Basement in Boston.
